Reiki is administered through the hands of the Reiki practitioner with the client lying fully clothed on a massage table. A session usually lasts between 30
minutes to an hour.
The Reiki practitioner places his or her hands at locations around the head and shoulders, the abdomen and on the legs and feet. The practitioner’s hands
are simply held at each location, lightly touching or slightly away from your the body. Reiki energy flows from the practitioner’s hands and into the client’s body and energy
field. A Reiki session normally includes feelings of relaxation, peace and well-being that also promote healing, but you can also become very emotional afterwards.
Most people feel good at getting multiple treatments in sequence, and sometimes it may be necessary to achieve long-term effects of healing. You may want to go for a week between treatments. In order to get the maximum out of the routine treatment it is recommended that you do not exercise or drink alcohol in connection with a treatment.
Often clients like to combine Yoga with an Meditation session at the end, that can really give a good feeling after a session. Or we can do a short Meditation before your Reiki sessions, so you are totally relaxed in your body and ready to receive Reiki energy.
